Santo Domingo de la calzada

After a short days walk past numerous fascinating sights including the golf course at Rioja Alto where we stopped for cafe con leche and not the nitrous nutty thick chocolate nutella of 2007, we parked ourselves here

It's a lovely cafe with a great view of the church. See the people halfway up the belltower? Surely not pilgrims they'd be too knackered to carry on extra- camino affairs!
