By now the Ashford Army will have marched out of Leon and be approaching Astorga aka the chocolate capital, next stop Rabanal or even cruz de ferro. Rabanal has some really good twin rooms. On entering the town first left also has a brilliant masseuse - worth every penny. Halfway up hill on the right is a shop with rooms above. Very good too. If you are over the top and coming down El acebo has twin rooms above shop on left and above bar on right and a huge Albergue further down the hill. I recommend them all !!
Ponferrade is a great town to stop in and we should be there by Tuesday but at least a day behind you guys ....
O'cebreiro is outstanding in the evening and the morning so stay in the albergue there or the many different rooms above the shops - a great view of sunrise and sunset
